PESHAWAR: Young engineers on Wednesday showcased practical solutions to security issues, remote sensing, automobile and renewable energy with local market viability.

Around 40 projects prepared by final year students of the Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) were showcased in Peshawar on Wednesday.

UET Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Iftikhar Hussain visited all the projects and appreciated the efforts of the graduating students.

He said that such projects minimize the gap between the students and the industry as a number of leading industrialists have also been invited to the exhibition, he added.
