DERA GHAZI KHAN: Armed assailants cut off a man’s nose for allegedly having an affair in Kali Pul area in Kot Mubarak police limits on Wednesday. Reportedly, a man named Saifullah and his accomplices chopped off 25-year-old Irshad Jandani’s nose and fled the scene of the crime. Rescue 1122 rushed the victim to the trauma centre at Teaching Hospital. Later, his family shifted him to a private hospital in Multan. Sources say Irshad and the accused got into an argument about the former’s alleged adultery. Saifullah then gathered his men and intercepted Irshad, which lead to a full blown fight. In the midst of this, they chopped off his nose and fled the scene of the crime. Kot Mubarak police have registered a case against the men.
