Whats in the Name | 5 years ago | Reply He was the tallest leader from Tamil Nadu, Not South India, as South India Used to Comprise 4 States then, Now 5 and Tamil Nadu is one of the 5 States Along with Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Telangana. Yes he would be remembered for a long time to come for some of his works. He did introduce schemes like Mid Day Meals and Distribution of Color TV's so that the illiterate and the under privileged, who would not other wise not know to read newspapers, would have access to TV News Channels.
