“Despite all odds, parties’ workers should be steadfast and carry out their political duties responsibly. Sacrifices of political workers will always be remembered,” said Lashkari while addressing a public gathering of the Hazara community on Sunday.
Province suffered from bad governance, corruption: BNP
On recent general elections, the BNP-M leader said, “I believe that those who kept their lips shut over Balochistan’s massacre have been awarded victory in elections.
“Those who claimed victory in elections had administrative support, but morally lost public support.”
Lauding the election campaign in the province despite security threats, Lashkari said, “Our brave political workers showed immense support for the party and continued campaigns despite security challenges.”

Separately, a condolence programme for the martyrs of the Mastung blast was held at the National Press Club in Islamabad.
PFUJ President Afzal Butt, senior journalist Hamid Mir, Bilal Dar and a large number of journalists participated in the programme and offered condolences to the martyrs of the Mastung suicide attack.
BNP-M Chairman Akhtar Mengal, Senator Jahanzaib Jamaldini and Lashkari were also presented in the programme.
On July 13, 154 people, including Siraj Raisani, brother of Lashkari, were martyred in a suicide attack on Balochistan Awami Party’s corner meeting in Mastung.
