One hundred quarters and 100 workshops will be allotted to artisans from Thar through a ballot conducted by the Lila-Handicraft Artisans Welfare Association (Lila-Hawa) and the Sindh Small Industries Corporation (SSIC).
Lila-Hawa is welcoming scheduled balloting until the end of the month. In a press statement, a Lila-Hawa spokesperson said that supporting Thari handicrafts could open a new international market.
