Congratulating Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on his success in the general elections, PTEA Chairman Mian Shaiq Jawed urged the upcoming government to allot top priority to boosting the country’s economy.

He urged PTI to evolve a comprehensive strategy to tackle the issues being faced by the industry. “Due to poor business conditions during the last decade, sizable textile capacity has reduced,” he lamented. “In absence of any mechanism for rehabilitation, investment of billions of rupees is turning into scrap.”
