Australian HC offers condolence to Raisanis

Siraj Raisani and 153 others were martyred in the Mastung suicide attack

QUETTA: Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan Margaret Adamson on Tuesday offered her deepest condolences to Aslam Raisani and Lashkari Raisani over the martyrdom of their brother Siraj Raisani and 153 others in the Mastung suicide attack.

“The Australian government and its people are in deep mourning over the tragic terrorist attacks in Quetta on July 13 and July 25. Being the Australian high commissioner to Pakistan, I share my sympathies and condolences with the victim families,” she said in a letter sent to Sarawan House.

She lauded the bravery of the people of Balochistan against the menace of terrorism and said, “The Australian government fully supports the people of Pakistan and Balochistan who have rendered sacrifices in the war against terrorism.

“Despite immense security challenges, the people of Pakistan participated in the elections and cast their votes which is a clear defeat of terrorists.”

Adamson condoled with Aslam and Lashkari in separate letters sent to both the chiefs of the Raisani tribe.
