Politicians, celebrities and ordinary citizens from across the country have spent the day voting in what will be remembered as Pakistan's most nail biting election.

While voters lined up at polling stations across the country to cast their votes, around 370,000 Pakistan Army personnel were deployed to provide security.

As voting comes to an end, we compiled the most memorable reactions to capture the spirit on this historic day for Pakistan.
