Clueless about where to vote right before the nation goes to polls?

Fret not. All pertinent details are available at your fingertips courtesy an Election Commission of Pakistan service. Simply text your CNIC number to 8300 and voila. Details include: voter’s CNIC number, census block code, serial number, polling station, constituency and electoral area (city, district or tehsil).

ECP recommends July 25-27 dates for general elections

In a separate July 21 development, The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) allowed holders of expired ID cards to cast votes. The decision was taken during a top-tier meeting presided over by Chairman Usman Mobeen.

On May 23, the final electoral list for the general elections compiled by authorities show a total of 105.95 million voters nationwide. Of them, 59.2 million are men and 46.7 million women.

I live near Baloch Colony bridge which is end of Shaheed e Millat Road. I am suppose to go and cast my vote in Lyari. How can it be possible. How can they assign a senior citizen polling station 35 plus miles away from home. Mind Boggling. So my vote will not be cast and counted.Shame on people who did this to me.Recommend
