DERA GHAZI KHAN: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Monday culminated its election campaign on a note that “it would emerge victorious on July 25th and all its opponents shall bite the dust”.

He was addressing a political gathering in NA-191, college ground in District Dera Ghazi Khan.

Moreover, Shehbaz also addressed a procession in Choti Zareen.

On the last day of political campaign PML-N president also addressed in NA-192 from where he is contesting polls, meanwhile, former Minister for Power Awais Leghari is contesting from NA-191.

“The night of darkness is about to end,” he told the procession, adding that “you all shall witness a brighter morning on the day after elections,” he added.

Shehbaz said that people still support the party because they know that their imprisoned leaders are innocent.

He further said that people are well aware who did politics of abuse and who did all the development work.

“Listen to your conscience and vote for PML-N, the party which gave you better education and health facilities, constructed roads and provided you better transport facilities in form of Metro Bus Service,” Shehbaz evoked the crowd in the gathering.

PML-N will win with a clear majority and form the government, former Punjab chief minister maintained. On quoting credentials of exiled party supremo Nawaz Sharif, he said Sharif made Pakistan an atomic power.

He introduced China Pakistan Economic Corridor in the country and strengthened the economy, and regardless of this he is being punished, Shehbaz complained.

Furthermore, under the leadership of Sharif, we started Danish school in the whole country, he added.

No other government has taken such initiatives to promote education, he said adding that Punjab government has improved the system of sewerage in the province.

PML-N completed a record number of development projects across the country, especially in South Punjab.

Similarly, the PML-N government ended electricity load shedding and strengthened the national economy during its last tenure, he added.

He said he would develop Dera Ghazi Khan at par with Lahore if voted to power.

Shehbaz promised that he would develop the country like Turkey and Malaysia after coming into power. He also criticised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan saying: he could not deliver in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and for last five years he had been engaged in levelling allegations.

The local political leadership of PML-N, Awais Khan Leghari, Syed Abdul Aleem Shah and Amjad Farooq Khosa, were also present on the occasion.
