Civil Lines: One arrested during police raid

RAWALPINDI:

The Civil Lines police on Tuesday arrested a robber and recovered a weapon from his possession. His other accomplices managed to escape from the scene.

Acting on a tip-off, the police raided a ground in the Civil Lines area where Ali, Nikash, Rashid, Irfan were present, presumably making a robbery plan. When a police team reached the scene, the suspects fled while Nikash was arrested and a 30-bore pistol was recovered. Cases were registered against the suspects.
