Custody Row: Child returned to mother

After hearing the arguments from both sides, the judge directed to hand over the child to the mother.

LAHORE: A district and sessions judge on Wednesday handed over a child to his mother after recovering him from his grandfather and an uncle. Petitioner Sughra Bibi, a resident of Shezan Factory, had submitted that her father-in-law, Muhammad Hussain, and brother-in-law, Liaquat Ali, had taken his son, Faisal, 6, from her after the death of her husband four years ago. District and Sessions Judge Mujahid Mustaqim Ahmed had issued summons for Hussain and Ali to appear before the court along with the child. After hearing the arguments from both sides, he directed the two to hand over the child to the mother.
