Justin Bieber confirms engagement with Hailey Baldwin

'You are the love of my life,' wrote the 24-year-old singer

Justin Bieber has finally found his happily ever after since popping the question to model Hailey Baldwin, a month after reconciling.

The rumours regarding the couple's engagement made headlines yesterday. The Sorry singer has now confirmed the news on his Instagram handle, saying he is 'completely committed to spending his life' with the 21-year-old model.

"I was going to wait a while to say anything but word travels fast," the 24-year-old singer wrote. "Listen plain and simple, Hailey. I am so in love with everything about you! So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you, loving you patiently and kindly," he went on to add.

Bieber further promised in his post to lead his family with 'honour and integrity. "My heart is completely and fully yours and I will always put you first! You are the love of my life, Hailey Baldwin. I wouldn’t want to spend it with anybody else. You make me so much better," wrote the singer.

"By the way I didn’t plan that, anyways My goodness does feel good to have our future secured," he added.

Bieber has been romantically linked with many famous young women including fellow pop singer Selena Gomez and model Sofia Richie. He was first seen dating Baldwin a month ago.

Bieber, while remaining a top-selling pop star, became a fixture of tabloids over incidents including racing a car through Miami and throwing eggs at a neighbor’s house in Los Angeles.

He abruptly ended his global tour last year after more than 150 shows, explaining that he was trying to deal with his insecurities.
