PESHAWAR: Issues affecting the Pashtun people have always been ignored amid rhetoric of non-issues labelled as matters of great national importance, said Qaumi Watan Party Aftab Sherpao commenting on verdict against Nawaz Sharif, his daughter and son-in-law.
He said that the apex court judgment was historical and expressed hoped that the decision would not affect the smooth process of the General Elections of 2018 and the polls should be held in a transparent manner within time.
He was addressing a public meeting in Tangi tehsil of Charssada. QWP provincial chairman Sikandar Sherpao also addressed the gathering. On this occasion the Mazdoor Kisaan Party Central Chairman Afzal Khamoosh and QWP leadership assured to full support each other in the upcoming general elections.
