Accusations: PPP blames NDMA for Gojal’s problems

Authority included only 135 out of the total 457 affected households in the list: District office bearer.

HUNZA: The office bearers of PPP have blamed the district administration and National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) for the miseries of the people of Gojal valley.

A district office bearer of PPP Tariq told APP on Monday that NDMA was responsible for sufferings of the masses of Gojal valley. “The authority has included only 135 out of the total 457 affected households in the list,” he said.

GBLA Speaker Wazir Baig had also recently blamed the district administration for the discrepancies in the data of affected households. However, there are signs that the issue of payments to the affected may be resolved in the next few days.
