Electricity crisis: CM meets KESC management

Qaim Ali Shah urged the KESC officials to resolve the issue quickly and put an end to load-shedding.

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah held a meeting with the management of the Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) at CM House on Monday to discuss the management’s conflict with the workers’ union.

He urged the KESC officials to resolve the issue quickly and put an end to load-shedding. There must be a compromise with the objective to resolve the issues in the larger interest of the country, he said.

Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Sindh IGP Fayyaz Leghari, Karachi CCPO Saud Mirza, KESC CEO Tabish Gauhar and Senior Education Minister Pir Mazharul Haq attended the meeting. Later, it was decided that a committee will be formed to settle the issues and suggest solutions.
