After 'Simmba', another KJo,Ranveer Singh project in works

Film-maker Karan Johar and Ranveer Sigh have come together for upcoming film Simmba. The Rohit Shetty directorial will also mark also Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara’s debut in Bollywood.

Khan has surprisingly, already managed to sign a few films namely, Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy and the Kapil Dev biopic ’83 among others.

Since the news of KJo and Singh joining hands for Simmba has surfaced, speculations regarding another joint project have emerged, reported Filmfare.

A source close to Singh revealed that the Padmaavat actor may have yet another period drama coming up. The new venture will apparently have him in the lead, marking his second collaboration with the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai director.

The source stated, “Karan has been thinking of making a period film for quite sometime now and seeing Ranveer’s performance in his previous period dramas has left him impressed. Karan and Ranveer have spoken about the project and may announce the same soon.”

Another source has confirmed that Singh is all set to tie the knot with actor Deepika Pudukone this year on November 10. Speaking about the most-anticipated wedding of Bollywood, the insider said, “Ranveer and Deepika want everything about their wedding to be perfect, which is why they took a lot of time to decide the date. November 10 suited their calendars and families.”
