Bollywood beauty Anushka Sharma and her husband, Indian cricketer Virat Kohli have been served with a legal notice, reported India Today.

I receive a lot of love from Pakistan: Anushka Sharma

Earlier last week, a video posted by Kohli showed his wife schooling an Indian citizen for "carelessly littering" on the street. He wrote, "Saw these people throwing garbage on the road and pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean?"

The video spread like wildfire all over social media. Arhhan Singh, the Indian citizen who was told off by Sharma, has sent a legal notice to the couple for shaming him. Singh has demanded an apology from them.

In his defense, Singh also took to social media and penned his concerns. He said, "I happened to carelessly litter while driving and a car passing by rolls their window down. There we have our wonderful Anushka, ranting and yelling like a crazy roadside person!"

Addressing the Pari actor, Singh continued, "While I’m apologetic for my carelessness, a little etiquette and politeness in your dialogue wouldn’t have made you a lesser star. There are all kinds of manners and hygiene - verbal etiquette is one of them!"

Anushka was always by my side: Virat Kohli

Speaking of the legal notice sent to Kohli and Sharma, Singh stated, "My legal advisors have sent a notice to Mr Virat Kohli and Mrs Anushka Sharma Kohli. In all fairness, I shall await their response."
