Police shifts body to local hospital for legal formalities

MULTAN: An 18-year-old boy lost his life while taking selfie at a railway track in Sadiqabad on Friday. Rescue officials told Express Tribune that Haseeb, a resident of Haq Town, posed for a selfie with a passing train. However, the fast approaching train hit him and he died on the spot. The police shifted the body to local hospital for legal formalities. Meanwhile, eyewitnesses said the victim was wearing headphones at the time of the incident. Earlier, a girl was killed while posing for a selfie with a passing train at a station in Khanewal’s Faridabad area. The police said 25-year-old Samreen was waiting for the Rawalpindi-bound Tezgam Express. She tried to snap a selfie with the moving train but was knocked down by it. Both the legs and arms of the girl broke as a result of the accident. Later, she succumbed to her injuries.
