Three gunned down in Larkana

According to the police, the clash occurred between two groups of Jatoi community

HYDERABAD: Three persons, including two brothers, were shot dead in Larkana district on Friday, apparently in an act of revenge killings. Five persons were also wounded in the incident that took place in Pir Sher village, within the limits of Aaqil Police Station.

The slain persons were identified as Mushtaq Jatoi and Qurban Jatoi, who were brothers, and Ghulam Mustafa Jatoi. The injured, Sarwar Jatoi, Mohabat Ali Jatoi, Karam Jatoi and two others, were shifted to a hospital.

According to the police, the clash occurred between two groups of Jatoi community after a man of one of the groups, Muzaffar Jatoi, was allegedly shot dead by the other group in Larkana on Thursday. A passerby, Abdul Qadir Chajro, was also injured in the armed attack on Muzaffar.

Two killed in firing

An exchange of fire continued in the village for hours until police contingents reached the village. The bodies were handed over to the families after medico-legal formalities.

No FIR had been registered till the filing of this story.
