Granting Favours: Rs11.6m for uplift scheme

An overall grant of Rs 656.4 million is issued to 36 districts of Punjab for uplift schemes this year.

BAHAWALPUR: The Public Finance Department has issued a grant of Rs11.6 million to the district government of Bahawalpur under the Punjab Development Programme.  According to the official sources, Rs 44.4 million has been issued for various development projects in the Rahim Yar Khan district. An overall grant of Rs 656.4 million has been issued to 36 districts of the province for uplift schemes this year.
