
The violations include running clinics and medical stores without drug sale license, not maintaining record of sale and purchase, running clinics without qualified doctors, running medical stores in the absence of any pharmacist and selling unregistered medicines. The ICT Quality Control Board approved legal action against these 15 clinics and medical stores running in violation of the Drug Act.
Drug Inspector Sardar Shabbir Ahmed presented 15 cases of violation of Drug Act 1976 before the board and informed the participants that during the course of inspection these clinics and medical stores were found violating certain provisions of the Drug Act and some of which were sealed on the spot.
