Four O-Levels students booked in rape case

Two arrested, victim was friends with one of the suspects.

A girl was allegedly kidnapped from the city centre and gang raped by four O-Levels students on Friday night. Kohsar police registered criminal cases against the four suspects after receiving the victim’s medical report on Saturday.

Two of the suspects including the main accused were arrested by the police, while the other two remain at large. Police claimed the medical report confirmed rape on the girl. However, police sources said the girl’s statement lacked coherence and her behaviour was “suspicious”.

Aniqa*, a resident of sector G-11/2, lodged a complaint with the police that she was kidnapped by Osama Pasha from Super Market in F-6. He took her to a flat in sector G-8/2 where three of his accomplices were already present.

Pasha along with Umer Jan, Hassan Chaudhry and an unknown person raped the girl, she said in her statement. She said she was dropped off near sector G-9 at night after the incident from where she was picked up by her mother.

Cases against the four suspects were registered under sections 365, 376 and 34 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) for kidnapping the girl, keeping her in illegal confinement and then committing Zina bil Jabar (rape) with her. The case was registered with the Kohsar police since the area from where Aniqa was picked up falls under its jurisdiction.

Police were able to arrest Osama Pasha, the main suspect and his accomplice Umer Jan while Hassan Chaudhry and their unknown fourth accomplice are still at large.

According to police, the girl told police that Pasha sent her a text message on her cell phone asking her to meet him. She informed him that she was with her mother at a restaurant in Super Market. Pasha came to the restaurant and asked her to make up some excuse and come downstairs to meet him.

A police official said they were friends since school. “Osama and Aniqa were old friends and their families knew about their friendship as well,” said a police official.

The girl came downstairs and was asked to get in the car. Pasha then drove to the place where his other three friends were waiting for him. The girl claimed all four men were involved in raping her before dropping her off in sector G-9.

However, during initial investigations, Pasha maintained that he had left the place after leaving the girl with his friends in sector G-8/2.

The girl’s mother started searching for her after she did not return to the restaurant. “Pasha had picked her up at around 5 pm,” said a police official. “She was dropped off at sector G-9 after both the girl and Pasha’s families found out that they were together,” he added.

Police said her mother was worried as Aniqa’s cell phone was not responding and she had not returned to the restaurant as well.

Police said all four boys and the girl are between the ages of 20 and 22. They are studying O-Levels as private students. Police are trying to arrest the other two accomplices of the suspects to complete their investigations.

She knew what Pasha and they are about to do.. The flat owner came in and joined them and the other two guys.. Th girl couldn't do anything at that time.. She filed complain against them later on.. The guys are to be blamed but so is the girl.. She was physically involved with Pasha.. She was not being raped.. She was doing it with consent with Pasha.

It has been proven by the doctors and the Medical reports. z69 | 12 years ago | Reply this article has not much evidence to prove them all guilty. the medical report says that yes she has been raped, but does the test says that its by 4 people? no. Guilty or not guilty it disgusts everyone. Plus they are not from O level, they're in A levels. This article is having many loop holes such as "doing O level at the age or 20 - 22". I know these boys, they're in their A levels. Another loop hole is this medical report, blood samples must be taken from the 4 of them and be tested before any more accusation. The biggest loop hole "police sources said the girl’s statement lacked coherence and her behavior was “suspicious”", this part I guess you all over looked. Plus the story doesn't says anything about Mr. Pasha forcing her to go with him, the girl came on her own. Conclusion: it was the at the girls will. . yet again it was all the girls will, she was fully in her senses that where she's going and where she's getting dropped. You can blame the boys but then again blame with reason. I think its the girls fault, no respectable girl would go out with any guy know what will happen next.

And just so all of you know, he didnt ask her to come down. SHE is the one who had been messaging him since many days asking him to meet her. The police now has proof that he didnt ask to meet her. They have mobile network records. Also, apparently theres a way to test whether a man committed rape or not. They take blood and saliva. Just so all of you know, Umer Jan's test came out negative. And he wasnt involved. The police said the girl gave 2 different alibi's. And hence this article says she was acting suspicious and her alibi was 'coherent'. I seriously suggest you people let the investigations complete before printing such articles. This has ruined the lives of two people who didnt commit the crime. Parents should develop this confidence with the children that they dont go behind their back doing stuff that may harm them like this. I think moderately dealing with today's socialising norms is very important, having male friends doesnt qualify for a punishment of rape! I find it hard to believe they didn't know what was happening. It's a criminal offense, and their knowledge of the crime, and them standing by, or helping carry out the act in any way, makes them accomplices. Secondly, so what if she went out of her own free will? How does that change anything? The article mentions she was friends with one of the guys. Also, she was with her mother and I doubt she would have gone as far as G8 to some house while her mother waited for her. I agree that the media has reported this and so the story might not entirely be true, but you herself said she went with him out of her own free will, and I don't see how that matters. I suggest you revisit them and ask for their statements again, you might also be interested to know Umer is being beaten till he's black and blue. their test results came out negative anyway, the media tends to write whatever they think sounds more convenient and believable, so you should get your facts right before you write an article that can ruin the lives of the two boys involved. Also, the girl was not kidnapped, she went into the car with her own free will. The two boys accused are the nicest, friendliest most caring people I know, they are protective over all of their female friends, and being one of them I can safely say they have been wrongly accused, as for the two other boys, I'm not sure.

It happens all over the world. if anything, it is OUR PAKISTANI hudood ordinance (many thanks to zia ul haq) which practically equates rape and consensual intercourse out of wedlock, thus allowing rapists to go free, while victims rot in jail for "Zina". Plus it is OUR narrow minded police who label rape victims are "suspicious". Hope the media treats the case properly and does not put the girl in too much stress. The boys should be paraded on the streets on a donkey with their faces painted balck. Most often, victims of rape know their rapists very well and their relationship tends to be on based on trust. This can include anyone, from a cousin, to an uncle, to a friend, to a teacher, etc. Just because the victim knows the person who committed the act does not justify it in any way. I really don't wish the same fate for any of you, but the ones blaming the girl, please look inside your own homes and protect your own kids. You may think you're keeping a close check on their friends and their out of home activities, but you never know what might be going on under your own roof right under your nose. A rape victim NEVER asks for it. No one wants to or deserves to be raped.

Other than that, regardless of the fact that the girl was acting suspicouis, her medical reports say she was raped. The girl must have raised the hopes of this Osama guy, without hope or frankness the guy could never have succeeded with his heinous plan.

Im assuming by west you mean USE because you have probably never seen a map and dont know that the west also includes Canada and the Scandanavian countries which have the lowest rate of rape. Their so called 'western trends' dont make them rape people. And by the way, most of the people there dont fear god. But still unlike us they dont rape and kill too.

This known "Dr." will be like "Abhi guzishta hafte,ek O-Level education ki taliba ko uske apne ek DOOST ne apne 3 saathiyoun ke saath milkar Jinsi Ziyadati ka shikar banaya...Nazreen zara ghaur farmaye O-LEVELS,yaani yeh kissi government school ya kaalij ya Madrasseh ke students ki karwai nahi thi...Bus ab aap per depend karta hai key aap kis qisam ke taleemi mahool mein apne bache ki parwarish karte hain!!"(During the last week, a female student from O-levels was raped by one of her FRIEND and the latter's 3 other companions/partners/friends.....Just pay attention towards the word "O-LEVELS" which means that it was not done by any student from some Government School or College, or Madrassah......Now it all depends upon you and in which sort of education system you want to raise/nourish your child) and he'll say so with a slight smile indicating that such systems are Fitnas for the nation.

If we look into the whole society we will conclude that it is our faults which give birth to such accidents. One (Father/Mother) should hold such control on his family that none of their childes commit such guilty. The parents should create an environment of friendship with their children and do not let them feel that they are facing someone very dangerous to discuss their problems. If a daughter/son is in love with someone she/he should tell to her/his parents about that to solve the problem. No parents want bad thing for their children but if the children feels that their parents are wrong they should discuss the matter with them. only then these kind of accidents can be prevented. (The topic is so big to discuss here but these are the major problems of now a days parents and children.)

That is all that should be taken into account. Even if all of the boys did not actively participate in the rape, they were accomplices to it and that is enough. She's a brave girl for registering her case with the police in a country like Pakistan.

Something is definitely fishy here! Should be investigated before accusing the guys, because i believe that a rape case is equally humiliating for the male gender as it is for the victim if it is a wrong allegation.

Rapes, murders, burglaries, extortion, name the evils and see they are present in our societies. Had this been a case with India I wouldnt have even bothered to look at it. But this is the case with muslims, hence a point of surprise. We have forgotten our deen and practises, everybody is busy today in either fighting over which sect he belongs to or in apostating. How can we expect Allah to help us! And why am I writing this is because I myself belong to weakest muslims, but my heart is not dead. I strongly wish Islam to come back to its past glory when saying "I am a muslim!" was an honour than being branded as terrorists. O people of the last ummah! Firm up your beleif in Allah and you will see there will be none to defeate you! And please do not ignore this with a jeering laugh!

But the good thing is that she filled a complaint against the rapists, usually rape victims never take any legal action against the culprits from fear.
