ISLAMABAD: Pakistan participated in an event in Brussels called “European Development Days” on June 5-6 which showcased development efforts of the European bloc around the world. Pakistan’s Rural Support Programme Network (RSPN) Chairman Shoaib Sultan Khan and former information technology minister Anusha Rahman spoke on different panels. The Sindh Union Council and Community Economic Strengthening Support (SUCCESS) programme, which is a joint effort of the government of Sindh, RSPN and the EU, was also highlighted. Khan talked about the success of RSPN’s development model, which had been adopted by various other South Asian countries. He said the programme had been able to draw huge support from various quarters.
