Latest offering from 'Sanju' will make you want to sing along
'Main Bhadiya Tu Bhi Badhiya' highlights the start of Sanjay Dutt's career in Bollywood
The much-awaited Bollywood film, Sanju recently it's released it's first track - Main Badhiya Tu Bhi Badhiya and it's got us tapping our feet.
Ever since it was announced that a biopic on the controversial life of Sanjay Dutt was being made, fans have been excited for the release. From the first teaser of the film to the various posters featuring Ranbir Kapoor in different faces, the hints have made viewers wanting more.
Ranbir Kapoor's performance in 'Sanju' trailer will blow you away
While the intense trailer gave details about the other characters in the film, the latest offering shows Sanjay's efforts to prove himself to his father, Sunil Dutt.
At the start of his career, Sunil thought his son wouldn't be able to lip-sync to songs - a skill that's essential when you're a part of a Bollywood film. Likewise, to prove his father wrong, Sanjay played by Ranbir, lip-sync's convincingly to a woman's voice.
While the tune of the song does not imitate that of the 80s - which is also the period in which the scene is set - it does sound very playful. It also features Sonam Kapoor, who essays one of Sanjay's love interests in the film.

Bearing resemblance to Tina Munim, Sonam sports a bob with outward curls paired with dungarees - a popular choice for 80s' women.
Sung by Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan, the song might not be all that but it sure is catchy. However, it's up to time to tell if the dance step performed in the song will become a signature move from Sanju - much like Hrithik Roshan's Ek Pal Ka Jeena or Sunny Deol's Yaara O Yaara.
While Main Bhadiya Tu Bhi Bhadiya is the first track to be released from the film, we can't wait see more of what Rajkumar Hirani has to offer. The film hits theatres worldwide on June 29.
