While addressing the house in his last speech, the speaker said that parliament passed 57 new laws, six finance acts, five constitutional amendments, three amendments (repeal) and 82 amendments were made in existing laws.

He added that seven acts were passed in a joint sitting whereas 30 private bills became laws during the assembly’s tenure.
Sadiq also thanked opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah, parliamentary leaders of political parties, women lawmakers, treasury benches for running the business of the house smoothly.
The speaker announced shields for parliamentary leaders and appreciation certificates for all members of the house while appreciating the media for giving comprehensive coverage to sessions.
