RDA DG tells officers to speed up work 

RDA Director General on Wednesday directed officers to complete development projects within time frame

RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Director General Rana Akbar Hayat on Wednesday directed the officers to work hard to complete the on-going development projects within stipulated time frame. Chairing a meeting held here to review on-going and new schemes of RDA, Engineering Wing he directed the officers to complete the on-going projects swiftly. RDA Chief Engineer Athar Hussain Bokhari, Engineering Assistant Director Rahat Ali Qureshi, Engineering AD Muhammad Faisal and other officers were present on the occasion.

The chief engineer discussed and gave detailed presentation about on-going and new schemes of the Engineering Wing like Ring Road project, Nullah Lai Expressway, remodelling of Ammar Chowk, dualisation of Link Road from Tipu Road to Benazir Bhutto Airport Road, Sarwar Road and other projects. He said, in view of future requirements of the city, the Ring Road project is inevitable and included in Annual Development Programme (ADP). He directed the Engineering Wing officials to work hard on the city’s projects to provide relief to the citizens. The chief engineer also discussed construction of a commercial tower at a RDA plot, Murree Road which was supported by the DG.
