SBP to organise awareness seminar 

The basic purpose of the seminar is to create awareness among public and prevent the issue of fake notes and fraud

MULTAN: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will organise ‘Currency Note Security Feature’ seminar on Tuesday, May 22 (today), to create awareness among masses about fake currency notes. SBP Chief Manager Multan Sarfraz Ahmed Nadeem said that the seminar would be organised at the chamber of commerce and industry.

He said that the basic purpose of the seminar is to create awareness among public in order to prevent the issue of fake notes and fraud. The payment of taxes and others is a difficult process for public but the government has made it very easy, through which the citizens can make their payments online while sitting in their houses, he added. Nadeem added that comprehensive briefing on the online payment process would also be given in the seminar for public facilitation.
