ISLAMABAD: Police have registered a criminal case against ex office bearers of the Civilian Employees Cooperative Housing Society, commonly known as Soan Gardens, for allegedly storming office of the society’s administrator. According to the FIR registered at Lohi Bher police station, Assistant Commissioner (Industrial Area) Waseem Ahmed Khan assumed charge of the society’s administrator on May 18. Ali Asghar Satti, who is working as a manager in the society’s office, says the former officer bearers of the society stormed the office along with several gunmen and threatened the staff and tried to take control of the office. Satti said former president Muhammad Ansar Gondal, executive member Chaudhry Arshad, Azhar Hussain and 8-10 gunmen entered the office. They have been booked for criminal trespass, rioting, and hurling death threats.
