Two killed in road crashes

Motorcycle collides with a donkey cart at Kaloor Kot Road

SARGODHA: Two persons, including a woman were killed while four others suffered injuries in separate road accidents in Kala Bagh and Darya Khan police limits on Tuesday.

A police official said that Muhammad Riaz, a resident of Pindi Ghaib, along with his three family members was travelling towards Mianwali in a car when a recklessly driven truck coming from an opposite direction collided with the vehicle.



As a result, Muhammad Riaz was killed on the spot while his wife Shamim, son Amir and Muhammad Tariq suffered injuries. Rescue officials shifted the body and injured to a local hospital for treatment and legal formalities.

In another accident, a motorcycle collided with a donkey cart at Kaloor Kot Road. As a result, Parveen Bibi died on the spot while her husband Ejaz suffered injuries. Rescue 1122 shifted the injured to District Headquarter Hospital for medical aid. The police have registered cases and started investigation.
