PHDF chief executive promoted

Jappa has worked with both the federal and provincial governments in various capacities

Zafar Haider Jappa, a grade-18 officer of Inland Revenue Service, has been promoted in grade-19. Jappa is currently working on deputation basis as the chief executive officer of Pakistan Human Development Fund since December 2017.

He is a reputed author of fiction and non-fiction works. His publications have been cited nationally and internationally.

Jappa has contributed on economic issues for The Express Tribune. The officer is a graduate of Government College Lahore, IBA Karachi, Potsdam University Germany and of Geneva Centre for Security Policy Switzerland. Jappa has worked with both the federal and provincial governments in various capacities.
