Opening minds: Maj Gen Manj for raising standard of education
Says it is responsibility of every sector to try and improve quality of education

General Officer Commanding, 33 Infantry Division, Major General Nadeem Zaki Manj has said that imparting education to the new generation is in the best interest of the country and Pakistan Army is making all-out efforts along with the government to achieve this goal.
Speaking at the Parents’ Day Ceremony at Army Public School and College Khuzdar, General Zaki said, “It is the responsibility of every sector to play its role in raising the standard of education and its quality.”

Kalat division Commissioner Muhammad Hashim Ghilzai, Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology, Khuzdar, Vice Chancellor Engineer Muhammad Amin, civil and military officers and a large number of parents attended the ceremony.
Maj Gen Manj said, “Educational institutions with a high standard should be established in Khuzdar and other areas of the province for our children to obtain the best education.”
He said that it was his dream to raise the standard of education as both of his parents were teachers.

He said that after consultation with all segments of the society, “we will evolve a plan for raising the education standard”.
Taking over the podium, the Engineering University VC said that all possible steps would be taken to raise the standard of education and the Army Public School and College, Khuzdar was playing its role in this regard.
