Corporate Corner: TDAP organises seminar on guar gum
The seminar was attended by around 120 guar growers and traders of the region

The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan’s (TDAP) sub-regional office in Hyderabad organised a seminar on the export potential of guar gum on May 7 in Mithi, Tharparkar under the supervision of TDAP Deputy Director Ashiq Hussain Khoso. The seminar was attended by around 120 guar growers and traders of the region, researchers, soil scientists and officers of the departments concerned who shared their in-depth knowledge and skills with the audience and highlighted the export potential of the product. TDAP Director General Azhar Dahar talked about the possible socio-economic impact from the export of guar gum on the lives of people of Thar. He said TDAP would encourage progressive growers of guar to further enhance its quality in order to compete well with competitors.
