ATTOCK: At least two people were martyred and 18 others injured – some of them critically – in an attack on a vehicle carrying civilian employees of a security agency in Attock on Thursday afternoon.

A suicide bomber riding a motorcycle hit the bus, which damaged it from the front.

Earlier, security sources said that a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (IED) had hit the vehicle. Security forces reached the site and began a rescue operation. Emergency was also declared in the hospitals of the city.

Those wounded in the incident were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital.

PAC officials said they had recovered the limbs of the attacker. Two other suspicious motorcycles were found near the site of the incident.
