Applications: Gurmani Foundation scholarship

A UAF spokesperson said that preference would be given to female candidates.

FAISALABAD: University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) has invited applications from deserving undergraduate/postgraduate students in their first semester for the Gurmani Foundation scholarship. A UAF spokesperson said that preference would be given to female candidates from Muzaffargarh, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Bahawalpur. A scholarship of Rs 4,000 per month will be given to the successful candidate for one year. Hopeful candidates have been asked to submit their applications at the directorate of student financial assistance and university advancement by May 20. The scholarship has been launched with the assistance of civil society members and philanthropists in the district to support talented students who would otherwise be unable to pursue their studies at the university.
