MUZAFFARABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that no honourable Kashmiri would tolerate any kind of misadventure by Indian Army against the territorial boundaries of AJK or Pakistan.

While visiting the Line of Control (LoC) on Tuesday at Peer Jamal and Watala sectors, the premier was briefed by civil administration on the situation along LoC, Indian ceasefire violations apart from losses of lives and properties of the people.

The AJK premier also interacted with the families of martyred and injured civilians and also distributed compensation cheques among their families.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the morale of the people living along the loC is higher than Himalayas and they will continue to defend their motherland shoulder-to-shoulder with Pakistan Army.

Terming the courage of the civilian population in Azad Kashmir as invincible, the prime minister said that the purpose of his visit to the area is to assure the people that all possible steps would be taken for the safety and protection of the civil population residing along the LoC .

He called upon the United Nations and global human rights organisations to take notice of the Indian barbarities in occupied Kashmir.

PM Haider went on to say that India is persecuting Kashmiris with an ulterior motive to change the demography of Kashmir but the valiant people of the Himalayan region will foil these nefarious designs of India with their courage and determination.

He also said that despite the use of harsh and oppressive methods, Indian authorities and their Kashmiri stooges had failed to force Kashmiris into submission and will fail to do so in future as well.

The premier also assured the affected families that his government will spare no effort in taking steps for their welfare and well-being.
