KARACHI: Criticising the recently held rally of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Muttahida Qaumi Movement - Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on Tuesday lashed out at the party for ruining the city of Karachi.

"Those who have sown the seed of hatred in Liaquatabad should be ready for a befitting response," he said. "We will not allow you and your nefarious designs."

Siddique further alleged that PPP cries out the slogan of ‘Pakistan Khappay’ but their actual slogan revolves around ‘Pakistan na Khappay’ as they have stolen everything from this city.

He expressed amazement on how PPP can talk against MQM which holds the mandate of "85 per cent of citizens of Karachi".

"PPP only encroached upon this city. It deprived the citizens of colleges, hospitals, industries and handed all these to the feudal lords," Siddique alleged.

The MQM-P leader further blamed PPP for working against the Urdu language by presenting an anti-Urdu bill and creating an ethnic fight between Muhajirs and Sindhis.

Siddique went on to claim that Karachi was developed only because of the hard work and efforts of MQM, but was ruined by the PPP.

"You cant even win one seat from Karachi," he added.

"We are the representatives of the founding fathers of Pakistan. We are here to give you a detailed response. The roads and walls of Liaquatabad will give an answer to your corruption, politics, and history," Siddique said further.
