Eight-year-old girl sexually assaulted

Police Spokesperson add when the victim raised hue and cry, the accused fled the scene

MUZAFFARGARH: An eight-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in Muzaffargarh, police said on Monday. Police Spokesperson Waseem Khan told Express News that eight-year-old (F)*, a resident of Basera area, had gone to her grandmother’s house for some work where girl’s relative Mohsin allegedly raped her. He added when the victim raised hue and cry, the accused fled the scene. The girl was shifted to a hospital for medical examination. Meanwhile, the police claimed to have arrested the suspect and registered a case against him.
