Implanting rules: ICTA forms task force cooperatives

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Capital Territory Administration (ICTA) on Tuesday formed a task force to ensure compliance of cooperative societies rules in federal capital.

Islamabad Cooperative Societies Registrar Muhammad Ali has constituted the team headed by ICTA Director Maryam Mumtaz.

The purpose of this task force is to hold weekly meetings with the members of cooperative societies and take necessary steps for the welfare of members of societies, Muhammad Ali said.

In this regard, the registrar had called a meeting of auditors and management of societies.

The meeting was informed that the office bearers of the societies will declare their assets under the law and eight members nominated by the management of cooperative societies will assist the department in implementing the rules.
