Adin Ross and Sneako react to Dean Withers N-word controversy

TikToker Dean Withers faces criticism after YouTuber Bryce Hall exposes use of offensive slurs in a leaked chat.

TikToker Dean Withers is under fire after YouTuber Bryce Hall shared a screenshot allegedly showing Withers using the N-word in a private chat. 

The controversy arose when Hall posted the screenshot on X (formerly Twitter), commenting, "not very woke of u @itsdeaann smh." The screen recording appears to show Withers responding to a YouTube link shared by Hall with the racial slur. Hall, a vocal supporter of Donald Trump, also mocked Withers’ previous criticism of Trump, writing, "Dean calling Trump racist is HILARIOUS now."

Withers quickly confirmed the authenticity of the screenshots, posting on X, "These screenshots are 110% real." He then issued a public apology, acknowledging his past use of slurs, including the N-word in 2019 and the F-slur in 2022. "I am ashamed of my past actions," Withers stated. "I hope to educate those who, like me, once lacked critical understanding of these harmful ideologies."

Adin Ross, a popular Kick streamer, commented on the situation, suggesting that only "the left community" was criticizing Withers.

Meanwhile, streamer Sneako responded more critically, rejecting Withers’ apology and joking, "I need reparations as a member of the African American community. I need money, okay?"
