Lamenting over the 'horse-trading' inSenatee elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan on Thursday revealed that he

"I said this during the 2013 elections as well. We even brought this up in the parliamentary committee on election reforms."
The PTI chief further said senators knew seats were sold and still if the system wasn't changed.
On being questioned about the legalities pertaining to votes casted by expelled PTI parliamentarians who are accused of horse-trading for the chairman and co-chairman seats, Khan asked, will the whole senate be discredited as votes are being sold since the last 30 years?
Imran added said that he will meet the expelled PTI lawmakers and if they fail to satisfy his queries, their names will be forwarded to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
"This is the first time a party has risked its provincial govt and exposed corruption," he boasted.
He further said that free and fair elections can only take place if there is a neutral caretaker setup but was dismayed over the fact that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will choose their favourable candidates for the prime minister, election commission chief and National Accountability Bureau chairman.
"The whole point of a caretaker set up is to have free and fair elections," Khan reiterated. "This wont be a neutral setup if they set all this up."

While answering a question regarding Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar's visit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Khan remarked that CJP should compare the condition of KP with other provinces and ask people how the conditions were back here five years ago.
As he responded to a question, Khan stated Chaudhry Nisar is an old friend of his and what he admired the most about him is how Nisar stood up against Maryam Nawaz and didnt take orders from her.
