QUETTA: Iranian authorities have reopened the Pak-Iran traveling gate ‘Raahdari’ in Taftan area of district Chagai on Wednesday.

According to Taftan Assistant Commissioner Zafar Kubdani, talks with Iranian counterparts resulted in the reopening of ‘Raahdari’.

According to Kubdani, people from either side of the border travel through Raahdari on a 15-day permit which is granted by the district administration.

The Iranians had closed the traveling gate a month back “and now after its re-opening, the traveling activities for local people have been resumed,” he said.
