The meeting was held on Sunday on 'Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah's political narrative and present political situation'. It was presided over by Justice (retd) Haziqul Khairi.
Guest speaker Sirajuddin Aziz said that Jinnah did not believe in orthodoxy and we should portray him as he was. He had the attributes of 'honesty of purpose' and 'an impeccable character', Aziz said, adding that if these qualities were highlighted and propagated, it would have positive effects on Pakistani politics that has become rotten with corruption and money making malpractices.
Prof Dr Akhlaque Ahmed believed that the current state of Pakistan was not the Pakistan the Quaid had dreamed of as he wanted Pakistan to be an enlightened, upright and dutiful nation.
