Promoting women’s rights: Literary awards by NCSW

Two awards will be given to the best submissions, one in Urdu language and the other in the provincial language

ISLAMABAD: National Commission on the Status of Women will soon announce its first “NCSW Literary Award 2018” for young female writers to encourage them to promote women’s rights through their creative writings. Two awards will be given to the best submissions, one in Urdu language and the other in the provincial language of the district the writer belongs to. Decision for the award will be made by a selection committee appointed by NCSW. Winner will get a monetary prize and their work will be published.
