ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police has arranged Leadership Development Course for its personnel with the purpose to inculcate better sense among them about emerging development and communication strategies in policing affairs.

This course to be held at National Police Bureau would be participated by Station House Officers, Additions Station House Officers and senior police officials would deliver lecture to them.

A comprehensive syllabus has been prepared for this five-day course being started on directions of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Sultan Azam Temuri.

Senior Police Officials including IGP Motorway Police Syed Kaleem Imam and SSP ( Security) Jameel Ahmed Hashmi would deliver lectures and brief about the qualities of leader, decision powers of leader and strategy to maintain peace in an untoward situation, community policing and t effective communication.

IGP Islamabad Dr. Sultan Azam Temuri has said that purpose of these courses is to ensure effective policing by creating awareness about modules of management, development and communication.

He said that forces of other countries participate in such courses to acquaint themselves about emerging changes. The IGP also hoped improvement in policing affairs through such courses and urged all participants to take keen interest in learning the new skills.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Sultan Azam Temuri has said that youth are our real asset and their hard work and commitment can guarantee the prosperity and bright future of the nation.

It was stated by him in a ceremony held here for special children in sector E-11. The heads of various educational intuitions and people from various walks of life were also present on the occasion.
