An overzealous PTA

ISLAMABAD: This is with reference to your editorial of May 27 titled ‘The PTA’s feigned piety’. The matter is first and foremost an issue of the freedom of expression.  What about the intolerance and hatred that our national curriculum and teachers disseminate to us and what about remarks made by TV show anchors on national television? The previous government banned television channels and this one has banned hundreds of internet sites. I am a mass communications student and at the very least I would say that universities which teach this subject need to also educate their students on how to deal with an attack on their right to information.
