Karachi beat Islamabad, qualify for playoffs

Karachi Kings on late Friday became the fourth team to qualify for playoffs after beating Islamabad United by seven wickets in the last match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League.

Karachi, after the seven-wicket victory, will now face Misbahul Haq-led Islamabad in the qualifier, the winner of which will enter the final of the third edition directly.

On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators will play in the first eliminator in Lahore on March 20, the winner of which will take on the losing team from the qualifier in the second eliminator on March 21.

The landmark final will be staged in Karachi on March 25.
