US cooperation necessary for fight against terrorism: Mamnoon Hussain

President Mamnoon Hussain on Friday said that terrorism in the region has adversely affected Pakistan and cooperation with the US is of great importance for tackling terrorist activities.

While talking with the Eisenhower fellowship president George D Lama, the Mamnoon Hussain said that services of Eisenhower fellowship programme are highly important for the progression of the human resources. The experts being trained at the institution are rendering invaluable services for the humanity.

On the occasion, Eisenhower fellowship president George D Lama said that his Pakistan tour had been pleasant.

Mamnoon urges Baloch youth to learn Chinese language

The Chief Operating Officer of the Indus Hospital Karachi, Abdul Bari Khan and fellows of Eisenhower programme in Pakistan were also present at the occasion. Programme President Lama said that the program is playing an important role in grooming experts in various disciplines. He expects the programme and Pakistan to continue their mutual relations.

The leaving Air Chief Marshall Sohail Aman had a farewell meeting with the President at the President House.

The president lauded his efforts in the capacity of the air chief said that the Pakistan Airforce had achieved milestones in his tenure and that his services will always be remembered. The president expressed good wishes while the Air Chief Marshal thanked the president.
