KHAIRPUR:
On the directives of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) Secretary, TDAP Sukkur office in collaboration with the district government Khairpur arranged a meeting of dates exporters and traders with TDAP secretary at Darbar Hall, Deputy Commissioner Khairpur office. The meeting was attended by dates exporters and traders from the Sukkur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and Khairpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The exporters of the Sukkur region requested the TDAP secretary for the establishment of a dates processing plant and a research institute. They also appraised him that the exporters of Sukkur cannot compete at the international level and therefore the participation of exporters in international exhibitions and delegations of TDAP at a relaxed merit policy is imperative in order to fully tap the potential of their region.
