Lured: Police arrest rape suspect in Peshawar

Official says the suspect was friendly with a girl who works in a beauty parlour

PESHAWAR: Police have arrested the nominated suspect who had allegedly raped his friend.

A girl who worked in a beauty parlour was allegedly raped by her friend here in Kotwali area of the city two days ago. Police registered an FIR in the case and arrested the suspect

Speaking to The Express Tribune a police official said that the suspect was friendly with a  girl who works in a beauty parlour.



“Two days ago the girl was invited to the home of the suspect when she reached there she discovered that the there was no one else at home and the boy overpowered her and raped her,” he informed, adding that the girl reached the police station after two days and registered an FIR in the case.

“We are waiting for her medical examination report,” he said, adding that the suspect has been put behind bars.
